Certior Capital nominated as European LP of the Year in the Private Debt Investor Awards 2018
HELSINKI – Certior Capital is pleased to have been recognised as a leading international investor with a recent nomination as European LP of the Year in the Private Debt Investor Awards 2018. Ari Jauho, Chairman of Certior Capital, sees this as a testament to a year of strong progress at the firm as it continues to strengthen its investment activities, with a particular focus on backing new SME direct lending teams across Europe, and lay the foundations for future growth.
“This has been a rewarding 12 months for us and we are delighted to have been nominated for this award”, comments Ari. “We have continued to grow the team and in August we launched our latest fund, Certior Credit Opportunities Fund II, with support from a distinguished group of European investors. We currently have a full due diligence pipeline including four situations where we can back the launch of emerging managers with niche country specific funds and receive very attractive economics. Team members have spoken at key industry events in Stockholm, London, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt and Paris among other cities during the year and both my colleague Timo Hara and myself have been singled out as industry leaders in surveys in recent months. Finally, last month we became a signatory to the PRI. So yes, this has been a very busy year on a number of fronts and we look forward to further success in 2019!”
